The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is organising several major congresses in 2024. These congresses are key events focussing on the latest developments in cancer research, diagnosis and treatment. They cover a wide range of oncological topics, including clinical trials, innovative therapies and technological advances. In addition, they promote international collaboration and global knowledge exchange. They thus provide a platform for the exchange of the latest findings and developments in the field of oncology.
The 2024 ESMO Congresses are outstanding events focussing on different aspects of cancer research and treatment. This year, several congresses will take place within the framework of the ESMO, each with a different thematic focus. Some of the key focus areas include gastrointestinal cancers, breast cancer research and treatment, and gynaecological cancers. The ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2024 will take place from 20 to 22 June 2024 in Florence. The ESMO Gastrointestinal Cancers Congress 2024 from 26 to 29 June 2024 in Munich. The large ESMO Congress from 13 to 17 July 2024 will cover a wide range of oncological topics, including basic research, translational research, clinical oncology and patient care.
The 2024 ESMO Congresses will be organised as hybrid events, which means that participation is possible both on site and online.
